Privacy Policy

TangibleAI helps parents, caregivers and teachers turn a child's year group, curriculum and interests into hands-on, screen-free learning activities. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
TangibleAI is designed for adults. Accounts are created and used by parents, caregivers and teachers — not by children. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect personal information directly from, children.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — your name, email address and password when you sign up as a parent or teacher.
- School requests — if you submit the “Schools — Contact Us” form, the school name, your name, email, optional phone number, country, curriculum and message.
- Learner profiles — details you choose to add about a child or student, such as first name, age, year group, interests, learning level and your own observation notes.
- Activity inputs — the year group, subject, topic, curriculum, pedagogy and materials you enter to generate an activity.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — basic logs about how the service is used, including activities generated, to operate and improve the product and to enforce free-usage limits.
- Device & cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details on the small set of cookies and similar technologies we use.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To generate personalised, age-appropriate learning activities.
- To save your activities and learner profiles so you can return to them.
- To respond to school enquiries and issue school access codes.
- To maintain the security, reliability and integrity of the service.
- To understand usage and improve TangibleAI.
3. AI processing
To create an activity, the inputs you provide are sent to a third-party AI model provider that generates the activity content. We share only what is needed to produce the activity. We do not sell your information, and learner profile notes are stored to power your own diary and suggestions — not to advertise to you.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run TangibleAI (for example, hosting, database and AI inference providers), and only as needed to deliver the service. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.
5. Data retention
We keep your account information, saved activities and learner profiles for as long as your account is active. You may ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, after which we will remove it within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligations.
6. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also delete learner profiles and saved activities from within the app.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and managed authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
8. Children's privacy
TangibleAI keeps technology in the background and the adult in the loop. The product is intended for use by adults on behalf of children. Any information about a child is entered by a responsible adult, and the child does not interact with the AI directly.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
